We’re thrilled that you’re considering a stay at our property. I manage the property myself, so I’ll be your main contact during this entire process. I’m a Realtor® in the Savannah area, and I saw at least 50 properties on Tybee before I purchased this one in 2023. I grew up going to Tybee Island Beach and I knew EXACTLY what I wanted in my first Short Term Rental.
- Space for my family and yours, plus some room to enjoy with friends
- Location: Balcony with a beach view (even if partial) and on the BEACH SIDE of Butler Avenue to minimize the walk from the condo to the beach
- Pool. Must have for me ….and they have TWO (one is heated in the winter) I love the Beach in the AM and then the Pool if it gets too hot!
- Access to food/drinks (This was a huge benefit, having THE DECK RESTAURANT overlooking the pool area and beach)
- Parking for at least two cars (and I love the fact that some of the parking is in a shady deck)
- I didn’t want to be fully on the north beach because it’s a bit far from everything, and I didn’t want to be in the middle of a loud, car-heavy area…. So I chose MID-BEACH!
I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly on Tybee, but I settled my search on this condo at BEACHSIDE COLONY. The second floor gives us a great view off the balcony and I didn’t have to give up ANYTHING in my search. There are even a few extras, such as deck parking for golf carts, and showers outside the multiple beach entrances.

- Local Attractions: There are so many new restaurants on Tybee Island that make this a beautiful place to stay. We are close to Savannah so that you can hit some restaurants or tours of the historic district.

Location
I found the best location at what we call “MID-BEACH” on Tybee Island. You can see the green marker near the bottom…that’s the PIER on Tybee Island (South side of Tybee). Fort Screven is located at the North Side of Tybee, and in my opinion, this is too far from the activities on the island.
MID BEACH is the best of the island (Red Marker), without the crazy crowds at the pier, but still having easy access to shops and restaurants.
5 Reasons You'll LOVE it:
- Sunrise, Sunset, Repeat!
- Two Pools on Site (one heated during the winter)
- Restaurant & Bar on site, overlooking the beach and the pool (my favorite for this location)
- Lots of room for your family or friends in the Condo. I love the 3 bedrooms and the pull out couch in the Living Room for when extra people stay.
- I have the house setup for my family,…. and yours. My goal is to make you feel at home and provide all of the basics you need for cooking and for the beach.
5 Reasons You'll hate it:
- It’s HOT in the Summer,… but that’s why we have a pool that has a BAR! Cool off with a frozen drink.
- Parking is expensive on Tybee, but our condo includes parking for two cars.
- Tybee has ONE ROAD onto the island, so make sure you check for traffic and high tides…. if there is a FULL MOON, the tide can come across the road for a few hours.
- Too Many New Restaurants! I honestly am trying to go to each and every one, and I’m not even close to finishing. There are so many options!
- It is a quiet island, there are no high rises and tall buildings, but people that visit tend to fall in love.

Tybee is a peaceful little beachy town near Savannah, GA. While it is close to Savannah, you’ll find plenty to do on the island.
